Learn to dive today

If you want to learn to scuba dive, the first step is to take a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Open Water Diver course, the most widely recognized and respected diving certification in the world. Within a few days, you can be enjoying the underwater world.

Course structure

Most courses comprise of 3 components, all of which requires completion to gain certification.
Theory/Knowledge – Most study can be completed at home with the use of PADI workbooks and DVD’s. You may also use the Aquapigs classroom to complete your study with your instructor
Pool – Confined sessions allow practice and mastery of skills before attempting them in Open Water. These will be completed at either the beginner training pool at Greensward Academy or at the more advanced 6 metre deep tank at Action Underwater Studios or Garons.
Open Water – We schedule monthly weekends throughout the year to complete the final element of your course. Usually these are held at Stoney Cove in Leicestershire, although for variety we also use Vobster Quay in Somerset and Buckland Water in Kent. Alternatively you can always complete your dives on any one of the many Aquapigs Group Holidays.

Continuing the adventure

Continuing the adventure is one of the best moves you can make. The PADI Adventures in Diving, PADI Specialty Diver and PADI Rescue Diver programs have some great benefits. By going beyond Open Water Diver, you can: · Learn additional skills specific to your interests · Be more confident in and around the water · Continue to develop your dive skills · Better understand the aquatic world · Dive where only divers with advanced training can.

As a PADI diver, you carry the most recognised and sought after scuba credentials in the world. No matter where you choose to dive your PADI certification will be recognised and accepted.
