Us PIGS do love to travel. Every year we usually arrange 5 or 6 holidays. We normally organise a couple of 2 week trips to more exotic destinations. This gives us plenty of time to sample the local culture in addition to some fantastic diving. As we are only 5 flying hours from the wonderful reefs of the Red Sea, there isn't usually a year that goes by without a visit to this diving Mecca . Thailand

“I have visited Thailand now for the past 3 years every January. I always fit in a 4 day/night liveaboard to the Similian/Surin islands and can honestly say I was very impressed with the diving, the boat and the hospitality. My first dive I saw a leopard shark!! Not only that I had yet another awesome experience. I spent a whole dive watching giant mantas – my poor camera was doing overtime (hopefully those on email saw one of my shots – I hope to get the rest on the website soon). The fish life was amazing and the topside scenery paradise. There was a good variety of diving including reefs, wrecks and massive rocks and boulders with some great swim thru's (you all know how I love swimming through tiny holes!!). Apart from the diving there is plenty to do and see and the food is absolutely fantastic (and the beer is cheap too!!). “JP

Mexico

“For diving variety you can't beat Mexico . Some of my favorite dives have been on the superb reefs of Cozumel . The underwater topography is amazing especially the sites that have heaps of swim thrus (im in my element!) Again I have been to Mexico 3 times and every time the diving has been fantastic. Of course as well as the reefs, there is also the amazing underground cenote system on the mainland to dive. This just blows you away – a real adventure. Add to that interesting culture, great Mexican food and cheap Corona beer, Mexico is a fabulous all round destination .” JP

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Many Insurance companies don't include Scuba Diving under their policy, or to do so charge an extra premium. Aquapigs is able to offer Goldwing Insurance policies. These policies provide normal holiday type cover at reasonable rates, but more importantly provide cover for diving down to 30 metres. Please ring or call in for a brochure. We can issue your insurance policy immediately. ANNUAL TRAVEL POLICIES ALSO AVAILABLE - a cost effective option when taking more than one holiday.
